Requirements
5 days of sailing (RYA Competent Crew or equivalent experience),
100 miles sailed,
Theory Knowledge to Day Skipper Shorebased standard;
4 hours of night sailing (can be completed during the course).
Theoretical navigation knowledge is required and important. It is highly recommended to complete the "Day Skipper Shorebased" course before undertaking the practical course, as the theoretical component is already necessary at this level to maximize your practical experience.
Minimum age is 16 years. Underaged may participate if accompanied by a responsible adult.
Duration
5 consecutive days; or
2 consecutive weekends (1 weekend, Saturday and Sunday + 1 long weekend of 3 days from Friday to Sunday).

Its location at the entrance of the Tagus estuary allows open-sea sailing in clear waters or more sheltered navigation within the estuary.
Proximity to Cascais and Belém, as well as quick access to destinations such as Sesimbra, is also a significant advantage.
