Our Boats
We are proud to present impeccably maintained and fully equipped boats that, together with professional skippers, ensure the success of your course and learning experience.
West Coast owns five vessels, comprising four sailing boats and one motorboat. All boats meet the technical and safety requirements of the DGRM (Directorate-General for Natural Resources, Safety and Maritime Services) and the RYA (Royal Yachting Association) and are used for recreational navigation training courses, RYA practical courses, as well as our coastal trips. They undergo annual inspections to ensure their safety and seaworthiness.

Dufour 382 | SY PEARL & SY TRITON I
Designed by Dufour Yachts in collaboration with Umberto Felci, this 38-foot vessel features the latest innovations in hull design, styling and architecture.
Measuring 11.25 metres in length, it has been designed to optimise onboard comfort in all sailing conditions. Its modular design appeals to all tastes and offers an ideal layout for both day and night.
The Dufour Grand Large 382 is also fitted with a rigging system designed to maximise onboard comfort and maintain balance in all sailing conditions.
We have two identical units, one of which is equipped with an asymmetric spinnaker, and they serve as our preferred platform for RYA courses and sailing lessons up to the *Patrão Local* level.

RM 1350 | SY PATAGONIA
The RM 1350 from the French shipyard Fora Marine is a true "blue water cruiser." Built from marine plywood and reinforced with fibreglass for unbeatable strength and lightness, it is fitted with a 75hp Volvo Penta engine, genoa, stay and trysail.
It is also equipped with all the safety gear required for ocean navigation, including a hydrostatic EPIRB, satellite phone, SART, generator, central heating, Navtex, GPS plotter, radar and AIS.
The spacious navigation table, with excellent exterior visibility in a sheltered area, provides the best possible conditions for ocean passages with maximum comfort and safety.

Dufour 360 | SY EASY
The Dufour 360 represents an innovative step forward, featuring the new “Grand Large 3.0” deck layout, which adapts solutions from larger models to provide greater comfort and space. The positioning of the controls, redesigned steering pedestals, and strategically placed winches make handling smoother, even with a reduced crew.
It is a versatile sailing boat, suitable for both weekend courses and longer five-day courses. It offers smooth sailing with above-average performance for its class, without compromising on comfort.

Ribcraft 6.4 | BLACK JACK
The Ribcraft 6.4 is a true offshore rigid inflatable boat, capable of handling the most challenging sea conditions. Its high bow and deep-V hull with spray rails provide exceptional stability in rough weather.
The Ribcraft 6.4 is capable of covering long distances. Its large fuel tanks beneath the deck maximise space, lower the centre of gravity, and improve the vessel’s manoeuvrability and trim.
