Program
The Sailing Baptism takes place near the departure port. Depending on wind and tide conditions, you may sail out of the Tejo Bar passing Bugio towards the sea, or alternatively make the beautiful approach to Lisbon.
You will learn the basic concepts of sailing navigation and participate in all the boat maneuvers. Halyards, Sheets, Guide Lines, Tacking, Heading Up, or Jibing will soon no longer be a mystery!
Participants can join an ongoing sailing class, joining the other students, or alternatively participate in days and groups specifically dedicated to Sailing Baptisms.

Requirements
No previous experience required;
Able to swim;
Physical mobility;
Over 14 years old, and minors always accompanied by an adult.

Approximately 2 hours of sailing;
Booking:By appointment, all year round (except December 15 to January 6);
Available on weekdays and weekends.

Oeiras Marina offers quick access to high-quality waters. It has modern infrastructure for sailing practice, including restaurants, shops, changing rooms, security, and parking.
Nearby are several beaches, an ocean pool, and a seaside promenade.
Its location at the entrance of Tejo Bar allows sailing in open sea with clear waters or more sheltered waters of the Tejo River.
Proximity to Cascais and Belém, as well as quick access to destinations like Sesimbra, is also an advantage.
