Programme
The Programme follows the structure of a beginner’s sailing lesson, starting with a theoretical briefing followed by hands-on sailing practice, including learning and performing essential manoeuvres.
By the end of the experience, participants will have been introduced to the basics of nautical terminology, different points of sail (close-hauled, beam reach, broad reach, running), and the main knots used onboard (bowline, figure-eight knot, clove hitch, reef knot). You will also practise essential manoeuvres such as tacking and gybing.
Participants may join an ongoing sailing lesson alongside other students or attend specific days dedicated exclusively to this Learn to Sail Programme.
